In all fairness, it's best to see/learn/know absolute facts before condemning either or both cars.
If the one is indeed a rebody, there's a good chance the TT may be untouched and original also if so is obviously a later built car?
Corrected VIN - 124379N659193 (prev' missing the year digit '9')

That's a fake tag; made before they started improving them a few years later.
