I was all of 19 at the time and making enough money to pay for it myself. Cost me a whopping $1800.00 as it sits in the picture. Bought it out of a newspaper ad in Van Nuys California while I was visiting my aunt and uncle who lived in Newport Beach. Yeah, I should have kept it..... Sure do like the white 62 pictured above too.

Re: First post
Thanks!
Here I am driving it. In this video, I am only about 3/4 throttle, on a private road, and just playing with it. All wheelspin. All NOS GM ZL-1 parts and stock NOS ZL-1 cam. The ZL-1 is the most radical of all GM motors ever built (turn up your computer speakers all the way). Remember, this is a STOCK motor, built to factory specs: <object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/TxO4ndTRHOw"></param> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param> <embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/TxO4ndTRHOw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> </embed></object>
