Default G60-15 Goodyear Tires

Does anyone know if G60-15 Goodyear tires would have been installed on any cars new?
These were on a 1969 Corvette I purchased in 1977, they were probably five or so years old at the time.
I replaced them with Radial TA's right away and kept two good ones.

1970 GTO and 1970 Buick GS 455, standard on GSX. Probably 1971 and 1972 for both the GTO and the GS 455 - too lazy to look them up.

No 1970 GTO had 15 inch wheels. The 1971 did. I believe the G60 was ONLY available on the GSX and not the regular GS, but I stand to be corrected. 1971 Mopar B-bodies with 15 inch wheels got G60s as well.

NO 1970 GTO was available with 15 inch wheels. The intention was there (that's why it was printed in early brochures) , but it never happened. Googling brochures is unreliable info.

OK - No G60s for 1970 GTO. Yes on the 1970 Buick GS 455/Stage 1 (optional)

WD1: G60x15 RWL on Sport Wheels

W02: G60x15 RWL on Chrome Plated Wheels
