'71 Malibu 400, 3-sp Stick
NOM, but an interesting car with nice colors. Originally red, but also had a black vinyl top - good color combo. I don't see any mention of docs, which would be a nice addition considering the CE block.

That looks like a really decent car. Engine (short block) replaced under warranty in 1971.

----Not knowing much about small block base motor 3-speed Chevelle's, I'm wondering why this car doesn't have a column shift. Could you option the floor shift or was it standard?.....Bill S

Bill, I bought a new 1970 Nova with base 307 V8 and floor mounted shifter for the 3 speed transmission. Floor shift was a factory option for only a few bucks. I would assume that the same was true for the 71 Chevelle, if it wasn't standard with the 400/402 engine.
