'65 Impala 409,4-sp Project
Rough car, to be sure, but an original Turquoise 409/4-speed car with air - not something I've ever seen before. Looks to have been sitting outside for decades, so it's pretty nasty, but for the guy who absolutely needs a 409 car on the cheap, it might fit the bill as a long-term labor of love....

Firewall does not look like an A/C car.

at 16 my buddy had a red on red 65 409 car, probably a numbers car too..his mom refused to let him drive it and made him sell it...she said it was a 409 and just too much for a 16 year old....his mom and dad bought a brand new 409 409 car in 62..and drag raced it
that was 1980..they sold it so fast i couldnt get the money together..$800 for a running driving 409 4 speed car....crazy but $800 was a lot of money for a 16 year old kid...lol

Coolcar if its real.Is there anyway to tell this was originally a 409 car with no paperwork or drive train?
Emblems don't prove anything.
