I have been fascinated since you’ve posted this info as my son is going to school to be an Aviation techician. I share these videos with him as a reminder of doing things right always and to never cut corners as in these examples it makes a difference between life and death. It’s a significant responsibility!

Huge respect for your Son.
I took Aircraft construction classes for 2 years during High School,and this accident really hit home with me for that reason alone back then,not to mention living next to it.
As Rich said earlier,installing safety wire on nuts because you don't want to loose engine parts at 30,000 feet could never have been more apparent.

I lived in Skokie as a 14 year old at the time and remember the crash well. What a tragedy that was.
