Just putting this out there. I did a BBC to Pontiac swap around 1980. I recall using Eagle brand headers because they had decent size primary tubes and a one-piece mounting flange.

I recall they were very well made and a reasonable price. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the insight. They could be that brand if they were being made in the early 70's. I'll look into it.
