On Aug 28th 1969 this car rolled off the assm line. That appears to be the date scheduled for painting it. I'm getting excited to get the car back so I can put it back together. They still have a little more to do after color. The shop has given me protective gear as I've been instructed to be in the booth during painting. They've been instructed to not duplicate overspray but don't prevent it either. I'll post more when it happens...Joe

I'm imagining you handing around cigars as they turn off the lights in the paint booth!

Are you up yet? Are you at the shop? Are you sitting in your vehicle while you wait for the shop to open?

Actually I'm thinking about paying the painter some cash under the table if they can follow my instructions today. I wish I could paint. I have in my mind exactly how it should look completely painted which is NOT the normal for most people or painters today...Joe

Talk to the painter before you head into the booth and tell him if he can detail the car like you want, you'll be happy to graft him a few bucks for helping get you the desired result.
Good luck with your day and remember the breath.
