Anecdotal, but I know of two 70 Lucy's within driving distance of my front door. Both look like they've been run through a woodchipper, Fargo-style.

First of all the metallic colors do not survive nearly as well as the solids. The metallic is Aluminum and it's presence actually makes it so there is less pigment and binder applied, plus once the aluminum metallic is exposed to the elements it will oxidize and thus degrade further.

White does very well, better than many of the other solid colors, probably due to the amount of titanium dioxide in the mixture.

So if white were 3 times as many produced and the factory paint survives at a rate of 2 to 1 or better, then that would be the reason there are so few LBlue cars vs White.

FWIW Mark I was thinking 250k would probably be the number.

If you had 2 collectors bidding maybe 300.
