Just wondering, as I compared pics of Danny T's (XXXBlackLs6M22) '70 LS6 Chevelle compared to this ElCamino's (before resto) pics..

Dicky good eye, you are correct.
Should be on the Wire Gutter.
I have never seen one attached on the firewall but anything was possible back in the day i personally think it is incorrect also but an easy fix all the same. There was no difference in the Auto or 4 Speed in location by the way.The White LS6 in the link has the TCS switch on the wire gutter like my car does.

That's a beautiful white Elco..Great pics.
Wrong upper radiator hose for an LS-6/4:10 though, and carrying the incorrect '67-'69 production D/S ex.manifold also.

The TCS relay should be rivoted to the gutter, like the white Elco, irregardless of transmission type. They tore/fell off in time from being bumped sometimes,so a few owners just drilled the firewall.

If they ever handed out an award called, "Vehicle Most Likely To Have New Rear Tires Installed Within A Month Of Taking Delivery", I nominate the 1970 LS6 El Camino.

Runner-up would have to be a 1969 Cuda 440.

Thanks Danny & Rick, thats where I thought it should be, but looking at the restored Silver Elky, I don't see it on the wire gutter??? (although not a great engine pic.)

Thanks guys. You guys know of the white LS6 on ebay. Pretty car, no pics of stamping, etc.
