WOW! This has to be a record price for a 1964 Chevelle Wagon:

When it was on Ebay about 8 years ago, I sent the auction to Dave L. knowing he likes wagons. The bin was $16,500 or $18,500 (?)
I've pictured that car in my head a dozen times sitting in the guys driveway in Pasadena... should have moved on it. Neat car, but not $143k cool.

Cool car and Chris Daniels restored it. Chris has the first Z16 Chevelle I had ever seen.

When 140K is like 14 dollars to you you'll buy a cool old wagon without a second thought.

I think two persons wanted that wagon and finely one stopped bidding. I seen this happen a few years ago on a 65 300HP Corvette, it sold for $150K. I know the owner, he said just two people wanted it. He made $100k more then he expected.
