Question What do you think you would have done?

I'm not sure, but I pray that I would have done the right thing and tried to stop the shooter, but we're all human.
What would you have done do you think?

As a law enforcement officer you HAVE to react. You MUST take care of business, immediately locate and stop the threat by whatever means necessary to save lives.

Sometimes individuals don't know how they will react until it happens. Unfortunately there are some in this profession that can't handle it. In that case they need to think about a career change.

Like the old saying, "If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen". If you can't do it your jeopardizing innocent lives and the lives of your fellow officers...
