Default '68 Corvette Convertible, #s 427/400hp/Tri Power

This car looks quite nice for the $39,900 opening bid. It's a strange market - so I doubt it will sell on Ebay, but if I were looking for one I'd have to inquire about this car.

----I'm not a 68 fan but this vert looks very nice. The double stamp appears OK, and I'm fairly sure I see the broach marks. Pad must have been rusty before it was cleaned. Tele column is a good addition, along with the speedminder speedo. Can't quite see if it has PS, but he probably would have mentioned it if it was so equipped. I often look under the hood at the rain gutter edges. If they aren't crisp and sharp, and the harness clips either aren't there or in the wrong spot I start to worry about the nose. This 68 looks good, but, as usual, eye's on it are important!!!.....Bill S

Someone put 69 or newer rallyes on it as they appear to be the 8" wide ones and not the 7" as were stock on 68 Corvettes.

What makes you worry about the stamping? It looks great to me.

Stamp looks like it's sorta double stamped - while leaning heavy to the right side - like a double tap while hitting - might've ended with a smashed finger for the stamper at Tonawonda... ow.

Just wondering if that light stamp is too close to the head to have been made by the Tonawanda gang stamp :-(

I previously had an original '69 390 car with a similar stamping.
