----RC Industries was located halfway between my Dad's house and the family hardware store. I used to pass it every day on the way to work. They also had a good speed equipment store on the premises. The RC stands for Russ Ciphers. He moved later on to California and at one point ran American Racing I have been told. Im fairly sure he has passed on. At one point his main guy in the speed shop was "Akron Arlen" Vanke. Between stopping at the speed shop and Arlen coming into my Dad's store for nuts and bolts and other stuff, I got to know Arlen pretty well. Great guy!
----You have a rare piece there Isdick. Those bellhousings were stout!...…..Bill S

The bell housing is not cast iron, it is cast steel. Big difference in strength. Here's an article with more info. http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=7891.0

Thank you Bill S for the history lesson on R.C. Industries...and thank you 1967Z/28 for the correction on material used in production.

When you say the application is for a small block, do you mean it will only work with a 153 tooth (10.5”) flywheel?
