You need to expand your horizons, Bill...
In 4-500 miles, you have at least 5 major metropolitan cities with multiple dealers. With freeway to most it's an 8 hour drive. Leave home at 2 am, be at the dealer around 10, buy the car, get lunch and you're home around 8 pm...piece of cake... 2 years ago, I was looking for a specific, USED, car in a specific color with front drive ONLY, no AWD. I found it in Fort Meyers and brought it home when we went to Homosassa that Feb for vacation.

I am calling Dealers as far away as Long Island New York, and nothing. Most All the Escalade ESV's that show up on the Cadillac.com web site as "In Transit" are Sold orders. I talked to a really nice Sales Manager at a dealer in Mt. Pleasant Mi. and he said Cadillac does that, Not the dealer. He will sell me a loaded one for window sticker, but It's Blue with light Parchment interior and I have my mind set on Black / Black. We'll see, I find more out from 3 local dealers this Tuesday. 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV
Well it took 6 weeks of dealing with some of the most worthless, rood Salesmen, But it's finally in my garage as of last Saturday. Bought it from Bill Newgent at Napleton Cadillac of Northbook Illinois and I could not be happier. What a GREAT Guy to work with. It has $15 K worth of options (Super Cruise, night vision, Radiant Package to name a few) I didn't want, but it is unbelievable. My Son Billy read that the 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV is the most technical GM vehicle to date.

Glad you found one, hope it's as trouble-free as my '21 Tahoe has been.
