Gentlemen,
My company is currently representing the current owner, Ken Maisano, in the effort to market and sell this car. Here is the link: https://www.revmusclecars.com/vehicl...camaro-rs-z-28 The Jerry Macneish inspection report states as follows- "Engine: V0206DZ assm stamping, "618" casting, dated A89, 302 engine, vin stamp on the oil filter boss confirms originality Transmission: P9B17B assm date, 4-speed M21 Muncie transmission, 660# case casting, case has been re-stamped" Jerry's report expands on these points further in on the report: "It is my professional opinion that the engine and rear axle on this 1969 Z28 Camaro are original to the vehicle. Through use of component data analysis, I was able to confirm that these stampings are original to the car as they match all original stampings in my Camaro Hi-Performance data base. I should note that the numbers on the engine pad have been re-stamped. This may have happened during an engine rebuild as machine shops can sometimes remove these numbers without knowing their value to the restoration of a vehicle. I was able to confirm that the block is original to the car by using data analysis on the vin stamp on the oil filter boss. These stamps were unique in many ways and at different times during the production year. Several variations of characters were used to stamp the vin throughout the model year. The vin stamp on this engine block does match all of the vin stamps in my data base during this build week in 1969. Therefore, I do believe the engine block is original to the vehicle... I can certify with certainty that this 1969 Camaro is an authentic Z28 Camaro. During my inspection, I was able to verify the following: * original engine and rear axle in the vehicle with factory assembly numbers and stampings * original engine frame mounts, #'s stamped 3945507 and 3945508 * original Muncie speedometer hole stamped out below the windsheild wiper motor on firewall * original X33 coded trim tag on firewall * tail pipe adapter plate on the rear left side frame rail with factory spot welds ...This car is an original Norwood built Z28 with factory installed 302-290 hp V-8 engine, transmission and rear axle. Original engine & rear axle Z28's are hard to find in today's Camaro collector world and the fact that this car has survived the past 48 years without drivetrain failure makes it rare and desirable." The car was entered in Concours Gold judging Class# 306. It was awarded a Concours Gold Certificate at MCACN, meaning this vehicle was found to be between 95% and 100% of its original factory condition. Concours Registry Number, GC1113-900

William, the dates on the short v/s long spoiler does that pertain to Norwood only or VanNuys & Norwood?

Both, could be either through possibly early March.

My 3B RS/ Z had short spoiler. When I restored it I installed the long 69 style spoiler. I've had a few 3B and most had the long spoiler.
