looks about right to me
I'm not a corvette expert, but owned a 69 427 vert too.
the trim tag on the vettes IS shiney, not painted or black like the trim tags on passenger cars. The block stamping looks to be the right size(s) to me too.
I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will let us know

There is no doubt in my mind that the motor is a restamp. The picture of the trim tag is too blurry for me to make a call on that. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

what really concerns me is the shiny trim tag that looks brand new,and theres no tape marks from being coverd up before painting,

All 67,68,69 427/435's have a unique rear spindle. On a 68 or 69, it will have an "x" or an "o" stamped into the spindles. This is visible with wheel on the car and hubcap removed. if you post a picture or PM one to me I can tell you if the axles are original 435's. Remember that it could have had the orig spindles replaced at some point too.

I understand that 435/427s were the only 69 Vettes with a single fuel line (no return line) from the factory.
