Default Ads from tulsa paper 1974

I came across some old newspapers my dad had saved about the Nixon deals.
looking at the classifieds I came across some of these. I like the one that has the 70 grand prix "hurtz" ssj. amazing the person writing either at the dealer or the newspaper got it wrong. and then the tire squeal tape is priceless. any of you guys ever have one lol this one I actually came across on the internet.

You forgot to fill out the "Wheel Squeel" coupon. I was hoping for a review of it. :/

Wonder if they still have that El Camino?

Hard to believe there was a time that a new pickup truck started at $2500 and probably didn't hit $85,000 with options.

1976 ~ Mishawaka Gates had a truck sale early in the year. Short bed six stick was advertised for $1999. I special ordered the same thing in silver, with a radio installation package, (included radio hardware and antenna) and chrome bumpers front and rear. Paid Gates $2009, excluding sales tax, with NO gotcha fees. Sold said truck four months later for $2600 and had already ordered a new a 400 inch small block Monte with air and windows for $3800 out the door. New car prices were still cheap in 76.
