Default Alternator Restorers recommendation?

I found an original, unrebuilt alternator closer to the build date of my 72 T/A and I need to get the original metal finish restored.

What I really need is the case refinished with a vibratory tumbler and NOT a sandblaster, I can do the rest. Anyone have a tumbler set up or had good results with one?

Or in the alternative (no pun intended) recommend someone who can do the entire unit, including the electricals?

I can tumble it....I like to lightly glass bead them first then throw it in the media with a heavy water/oil bath and run it for about 45 min to a hour..

Ken Bruno in NY is also good, very good TAR time. Pirkle is 10-15 weeks. Too slow.

I have used Cindy at American Armature and Generator in Weston, Texas (214-823-1383) for all of my alternators

They are very good and have a quick turn around. They have the correct diode ink stamps too.

Let Big Steve in Cleveland do it for you. (68l30) He is a member here and a pretty fussy guy!
