I feel like a bit of a dummy the block is cast march 23 the actual engine was assembled at tonowanda april 20

I recently found a 9B3 dated carb on facebook marketplace and the price was to good to pass up a 1/4 of what the used ones on ebay are going for its just missing the choke stuff and the linkage for the vaccum secondaries.
