409 Canadian Pontiacs
In the late 60’s the Chevy 396 was available in the Beaumont, but I do not believe the L78 was ever offered. In the early 60’s the 409 was available in full size Canadian Pontiacs. Does anyone know if the dual 4V high horse engine was an option or did they only offer the low horse version. Appreciate it.

I wish I could help you Don, but I haven't researched the Canadian cars at all. NO room left in the brain....

Re: 409 Canadian Pontiacs
Brochures show 425-hp 409. I assume availability mimics Chevrolet's.

425-hp not available in 1965, however.

Re: 409 Canadian Pontiacs
What I find interesting from the above table is the fact the dual 4V engine only available in 1964 and it appears no 409 available in 1962.
Thanks for the replies guys.
