Got it out of the trailer into the garage. Cleaned off some grime from the rear end: #'s are KN 1118 B. Perfect match to the POP and the weld marks on the rear tubes from the Motion Superbite bars are all there as well. Ladder bars in the rear end picture I posted look like later bolt on Lakewood bars. Interestingly the rear build is way before the 06B car build date. The trans and engine were built May 23 and May 31st much closer to the June car build date.
Somebody just let me know that there is also a third magazine with a picture of the car parked in front of the Motion Performance shop. Hi-Perf. CARS Oct. 1968. |
