What the???
Either this 5K CL ad is a scam,or the eBay auction of it selling for 20K was bogus.

Here is the email I got from Craigslist my name is Melany, the car is still available for the price stated in the ad, $5,000.00. I want to be very clear, I'm not selling this car for a lower price and I'm not interested in any trades or payments. So, it is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, numbers matching 325hp 396, numbers matching Turbo 400, number matching 12-boot rear. Factory A/C, column shift, bench seat, vinyl top. I have not found a build sheet. Floor pans, trunk pans, etc are solid. Minimal rust in the driver side lower quarters but overall amazingly solid. I tried to take descriptive pics. Car will come with a current IA registration and bill of sale. Engine spins over but hasn’t ran since 1992. Car is sold as-is. It was my husband's project and I own it because of my divorce settlement. I'm selling it because I have some urgent debts to pay and also don't need it, so I'm trying to get rid of it as soon as possible. As I'm in a big hurry to sell it I need a fast and reliable buyer, so please let me know if I can rely on you on this deal, I don't want to waste our time if you are not determined to buy it or you don't have the funds available.
I've attached you some more pictures with the car in this email

If the ad were real, it would have sold in 15 minutes.

This ad and similar ones have shown up on CL all over the country a short time after the ebay auction concluded. The ebay ad and car are real. The CL ad and $5000 or so price is obviously a scam.
