Here's another photo. This is the car I am working on. It's the possible COPO x44d80. It doesn't look like this now. If you guys would like to see a car most people would scrap I'd be glad to post a "This is what I had to start with photo".

I should have asked this in the last post but wasn't the hood scoop in this photo available at JC Whitney's until a few year's ago? It was a fiberglass scoop mounted on top of the steel ZL-2 hood.

Whitetop, may be able to help you with that scoop---he seems to have a good source of old catalogs--I just have a current JC Whitney catalog.--Post when you get a chance.--JoeG

There were acually two dealers in Utah.
one was capital chevy. the other one was in Magna,Ut. and that was Gus Paulos chevy. Both dealers sold supercars. and Paulos Chevrolet sold Kevin Sadum's ZL-1 Corvette. And that dealer is still running today. Kim/Ironhorse

The owner of Capital was Mr. Streetor, for the life of me I can't remember his first name. I think he has passed away but Gus Paulos is still with us. Do you remember F.G. Ferre and Sons Speed parts on State Street?

Hey be lucky. I worked for him in 1981-82, And all I ever knew him as was Mr. Streater. He sold the dealer in 1985-6. and it was later torn-down. And he died in 1986 at the age of 96. Boy could I tell some storys about him. Kim
