Berger underhood sticker

I found what looks like the remnants of old adhesive on the driver side fenderwell under the hood of a `69 Chevelle post sedan SS396.
I also recently bought a repo Berger Prescribed Power sticker.
It looks like the adhesive outline is about the same size as the repo sticker.

My question would be, did they put this sort of sticker under the hood of all their performance cars back in `69, or was that done to cars they "tuned"?
