Default 1972 Chevy "Mod Bod" Decals

Hello!
I'm looking for any further information about these dealer-installed optional decals from Chevy, specifically the "Flame by Chevy" El Camino.

I've attached pictures of an original Chevy mailer brochure and a zoomed in scan of the El Camino. There's also a picture from the 1972 Chicago Auto Show where the Mod Bods were featured including a 1972 El Camino SS with the flame decals.

There are very, very few pictures out there of the El Camino so if anyone has additional pictures I would be very grateful if you could share them. I was lucky enough to pick up a set of NOS decals and would love to have a reference car.

Also you may have seen some of the "Eagle" or "Hawk" C-10s as they were fairly popular, as was the "Feathers" Blazer.

Luke

Happy to share!

Yes the Blazer seems to have the most options, if you notice the description below each vehicle it lists all the vehicles the decals fit. The El Camino is an odd ball since it only was available with the Flames yet it was different than the Blazer/Pickup/Suburban Flame decal option!

I was able to find one production car picture that wasn't from an advertisement! Also messaged the original owner on ChevyTalk and he said it was a salesman demo car.

Thanks for that!

I've been digging more and more into these and have now found a handful of different ads. Most are featuring the Blazer or C10 but I'm still hoping to find an El Camino specific one!

The first one below is a '72 Chevy Truck mailer, while the second one is very similar to one I posted previously but is a different layout. I like the "Wild New Put-Ons From Chevrolet" slogan!

They sure are difficult to find! Hope you can snag it one day.

Also for those interested, I found another ad/article from the November 1971 Motor Trend magazine highlighting the "1776" Mod Bod decals on a Suburban. Never seen good pictures of this decal variant before!

I don't know if this qualifies since it's from GMC and from 1970s.
