Default assembly line 1967 1968 Camaro SBC fan shroud 3893812 Z/28 SS350

Hi Gang, rare treat here - a correct and original assembly line SBC 302 327 or 350 plastic fan shroud. these are markedly different in appearance than the later OTC replacement parts - and they differ where it matters / most visible area at the top - the molding at the top is different and they are wider.

Thanks to Chick for the last photo posted here, copied from his mega build post at CRG, thank you! Top is the OTC unit, original below - notice the curve of the molding in the original and obvious mold marks. You want an original on your Camaro. The "caution fan" stickers won't fit on these original pieces...

It's off a Day 2 1968 street freak that was recently parted. Don't ask. Again, it wasn't me.

Anyway, review the photos, it's sort of white and chalky, but will likely clean up nicely or could certainly be used as-is for a survivor or driver, with or without a shot of a spray bomb semi gloss black if that's your preference. Not brittle!

part number is 3893812

No cracks, no serious / fatal damage - some fading and light scratches and dust / dirt / grime as is to be expected on a 50+ year old part - this was factory installed. See the photos.

175.00 PPFF plus actual shipping & insurance, if wanted.

Thanks friends,
Anthony

Made me go look at mine, Anthony. Whew, mine is an original. Shipping would be a bugger for that...

Wouldn’t be too bad. Big box, lots of bubble wrap. Light item
