Not all 67 L79's were SS cars...Dan Millers was not an SS but a 2dr coupe. Pictures of Dan's car is in above post.

Here is a question that I have gotten conflicting answers on.. Which balancer did the 67 L79 get the big or small? I see Jack's as being large. Also which manual trans flywheel did they receive?

Every 64-67 V8 Chevy II got a 153 tooth flywheel and 10.4&quot; clutch. There was no 11&quot; clutch in the early Chevy IIs. There was only one bellhousing for V8 Chevy IIs (P/N ending in '309').

I realize they only came with the smaller clutch..

Edit: Nevermind anwsered my own question.


Still would like to know about the balancer..
