Good Question, Ralph. I have about 1,500 great old magazines from 1960 to 1974 and the cost of shipping is more than they are worth. I see my kids tossing them in recycling after I'm gone. I'd love to hear what others think on this subject.

I've tried several times to give mine away and can't find any takers.

Old car magazines with their Test Articles and cool Advertisements are great.

I have stacks also from the late 50’s through the 70’s.

My favorites are the engine bay photos (even though they are black and white) because they show how a Muscle car looked fresh from the factory.

I cherry picked the few I REALLY wanted, and tossed the rest.

I've been saving car magazines since I got into cars in the mid-80's and have about 3000 that deal mainly with 50's through 70's muscle cars. I put them in labeled plastic totes in my utility room and go through them all the time when I'm looking for something on a specific car and am looking forward to going through them all again when I retire. I'm sure my kids will pitch them after I die when they realize nobody else wants them which makes me a little sad since they've brought me so much joy over the years.
