Default Crane H-260 Camshaft #283901 Pontiac

Just in case someone needs a cheap, used camshaft in nice condition, made a long time ago when the metal was still good. I installed this in the 350 in my Gramma's 1975 Firebird in 1993 and then replaced it with an 068 cam in 2011...and then replaced that engine with a 455HO in 2015. You know how mission creep goes!

I pulled it out of the 350 engine in 2011 and then soaked it in BoeShield and packed it away on a shelf in a wax-lined box for safekeeping.

Here's the specs from the Crane site:

Crane H-260-2 Part Number: 283901
Good low end torque, smooth idle, daily usage, towing, economy, also mild turbocharged, 2200-2600 cruise RPM, 8.0 to 9.5 compression ratio advised.

Exhaust @.050: 216
Lobe Sep: 112
