Default 1970 Rallye 350 post coupe..

This was my first musclecar.. used as my daily driver until I narrowly missed a construction barrel with that original hood! I traced it to the original owner family and selling dealer in Sikeston, Missouri. Unusual in that it was a post car loaded with options. Still around KC and restoration I started is still unfinished..

I had a chance to buy a Ralley 350 post once and chose a L34 4 spd 69 Chevelle, the ralley 350 still runs around town never restored still original WEAK paint.

There's a 1970 Rallye 350 post coupe around here (Western Suburbs of Chicago) that attends a lot of cruise nights. The owner has a lot of Oldsmobiles.

Everyone ALWAYS wanted to race me in this.. and it wasn't that fast! It was optioned like a regular fancy old Cutlass. PS PB Air, AM radio, 3.23 Anti-Spin, carpeting, Rally Pack gauges.. had the B-80 or B-90 window trim. It was fun with the bench seat and column shift.. the son of the dealer owner ordered his high performance cars at the dealership. He said the post cars were cheaper so he ordered them with more options and put them on the showroom floor.

I always wanted a stripper rubber mat bench seat 4 speed 3.91 gear Rallye....
Think there was 1,020 F-85 post coupe Rallye's like this one.....

Thanks for thinking of me Ryan. And much like CJJeff, I always wanted a Rallye 350 post with no options but a 4-speed.

I bought this car out of the KC Star newspaper ad.. it was missing the steering wheel, gauge package and had a 71 or 72 under dash 8 track player. I found a guy locally who had a wheel for it so when I went to see him he had 3 Rallye 350's! One was a bench seat rubber floor mat 4 speed stripper with what we thought was a 3.91 gear. That would have been fun!
