Default It’s time to play name that slapper bar!

So my daughter went to her first swap meet today and picked these up. They look like lakewoods to me at first glance and I’ve seen some variations on lakewoods but I haven’t seen exactly these. Look identical to another set I’ve seen but the spring plates actually look different to me although could be the angle
.

Any thoughts?

Check the width on a 1st gen rear spring and see if they'll fit between the bolt holes.
I bought a nice set of Lakewood J-Bolt style at a swap a few years back cheap thinking I got a score- but they turned out to be Mopar and too narrow.
They did come with new snubbers and J-Bolts though, so it made it worthwhile.
Bought another nice set of Ansen Ground Grabbers cheap a few weeks ago, and was able to use the J-Bolts from the Mopar set.
Those J-Bolts aren't cheap- best price I've seen is $50/side through Summit.
Silver Comp Eng PN C7032.
Unless you want the gold ones- those are $20 more. Lakewood PN 20580.

These fit 69 bird / camaro and novas. Checked and they do fit.
Was just wondering if they were lakewoods or some kind of knock off. I didn’t see a Lakewood kit for $50 the comps don’t have the strap for the angle piece, but did ones for $71 which were the last part number you listed.
Doesn’t come w the u bolts and those are $20 on lakewoods site, these lakewoods get pricey hey at least they still make the kits unlike the square tubes .

This is what was on it back in 69’

Can’t tell if they were square or rectangles.

What’s odd about this pair I have is the snubbers aren’t evey mounted and there’s no other holes to mount them
Like I usually see

I made up steel bars to slide inside mine and extend therm to get the snubber to hit under the spring eye. Didn't want to bend the spring up like some cars I have seen.

I haven’t put them
On to see where it lands but one is about 2 inches back from the other on the bar. There are no other holes suggesting this may be how they were made . Either that or they came with no holes and someone drilled them
This way for a reason . iDK why they would though.

Resurrecting this old thread . These bars just sat in the corner since then really looking for square tubes now. But I was told by an old time racer
Of firebirds / Camaros that these bars were ment to be offset like that it’s how they were sold. And these only have that one hole per side.
Anyone have any info on that?
