Power Windows

Does anyone know on a 4th gen Camaro if what looks like a small plate around the power locks and power windows switches on the driver's side arm rest can be gently pried off exposing the switches? My driver's side power window isn't working, and I want to take a look at the switches to see what might be wrong but don't want to end up breaking anything. Thanks in advance.
