Default 1968 Camaro - Glove Box Lock Cylinder - Need correct GM part number

Hi fellow first gen Camaro owners:

I'm trying to replace my aftermarket glove box lock assembly with an original NOS one. I've been able to learn that the correct case and bolt for a 1968 Camaro with a build date of May 68 is GM part 3899887. This is listed in the 68 Camaro FAIM page UPC 1 B2. Now I'm trying to find the correct GM part number for the lock cylinder that takes pear head keys. Specifically, I need an uncoded cylinder so my locksmith can set my trunk key with the glove box lock so they take the same key. Appreciate any help. Thanks. Tommy68

My GM book reads 68 Camaro 7743438 Cylinder, compt. door lock (uncoded). Hope that helps. David.
