Jackson is known to attend some high end car shows with some of his collection. Lots of photos is 1969 RS ZL-1 COPO at shows. So it's not like it will disappear into a collection never to be seen again like many rare muscle cars. And as stated, he did give others a chance to buy the Green Hornet - they just didn't meet the reserve.

how did Joe Average know what it was? Its identity was lost for decades according to the article.....right?

i was just a whim..just a thought..didnt mean anything...i dint realize i cant speak my mind...bummer...

oh... i'm not surprised..ive been here more than a minute...it was just a passing comment..
i didnt realize i was so provocative...

i AM glad its getting saved..it was more like "i hope it doesnt get saved and stored away in a building somewhere" kinda thing..

Great story surrounding an icon of a Ford. I certainly hope it's resurrection is publicized.
