Default need help with this alternator is it real or not

i have listed this alternator for sale and i have had a guy tell me its a re-stamp, i bought this at a swap meet years ago and the only thing i have done to it and it was just recently is replate the pulley. but i need to know what you all think, is it a original or re-stamp

The 37 look way out of bounds to me,like a Re-stamp.

When I said no the stamp looks very odd and I would pass on it. I am not sure if that is a known date, I dont have that one saved.

That's not a known 1970 #837 date.
