Maybe nice pics of the engine stamp pad and transmission stampings to make the purists take more notice? Being a ‘66 (instead of a 67 or even a 65 which I barely understand why people prefer them), color change, ‘67 wheels, and having a very pretty restoration that appears to have been done by shops that do custom or racing work instead of NCRS chalk marks are probably limiting word of mouth. I think it really needs one of those EBay listings with 100 pics to show people how nice it is all over to make someone pull the trigger at 52k. Good luck to you. I have a client who isn’t a purist at all that I showed your listing to-he’s even in CA already! I figured out for him, that if it’s not a 63 or 67, he’s just not interested *♂️

1966 L79 Corvette is apparently SOLD
Sounds like the car found an appreciative new owner, I received this message:
"My name is Rich im from Mooresville NC, I bought the 66 vette from joe wheeler, he is the engine builder for pannella racacing engines in Stockton caifornia. The car is sweet and the underneath is nicer than the top, ive never seen so many parts powder coated, he went nuts on it....I was wondering if you wouldn't mind just posting the word "sold". thanks" Glad it worked out |
