Default 1970 AMX 390 wanted

I'm looking for something different now:

I want a 1970 AMX with a 390. I prefer a four-speed. The more options the better, i.e. Ram Air, Shadow Mask, sidepipes, Go Package, leather interior...

And in as perfect condition as possible. These cars are way too difficult to restore, so I'd love an already done car.

And of course, in a neat color like Bayshore Blue or one of the Big Bad colors. (I'm not really into greens and beiges and off-taupes).

Yeah, and for a good price too, since I am making my Christmas wish list. :-)

Thanks!

njsteve

Go Steve!!

Somehow I can’t see you cruisin’ the ‘hood in an AMX. But heck, you only live once! Drive as many makes and models as possible!

Good luck in the search!

Cheers
Dave

If you have never driven a 1970 AMX or Javelin I suggest you do …. they are fun, fun, fun, and they have the best hood ever … that hood with the built in (Stamped) scoop looks so cool from the inside while driving down the road … and those little amc motors run strong

Don't know if you would consider a 69 (and I personally don't know the differences) but there is one in Dallas on CL. Not mine, and don't know the seller.

The 70 has the cool hood scoop and wide mouth grill. Also the dealer installed side pipes and the shadow mask (the blacked out hood like an AAR Cuda). And it's the last year for that body style.

Like this Big Bad Orange and Bitterwseet Orange pair

I get it. Certainly a more aggressive looking car than the 69.

NICE! But I don't think Steve will be buying any more Canadian cars after his DMV nightmare with the black Formula

Just noticed automatic
