Default Looking for info

Hello, looking for some info on pistons in a L78 supposedly built by Smokey Yunick. Used a bore scope too look at the cylinder walls and pistons. The pistons are stamped GM# 3887117

I saw that engine on Facebook. Pretty cool. I’m sure it’s a high winding motor. Smokey liked to go faster than anyone.

Mondello's was a big name head shop... would Smokey be using Mondello's? I thought he ported his own heads.
