When I then saw the pictures showing the stripe ends in the door jamb it led me to HOLD out HOPE there is the possibility that the actual original tape job on the rockers could be determined if carefully inspected while stripping the paint. Most people if they found the huge dip below the rocker molding would never think it came like that, however it did. NOW actually restoring it like that, well that is up to the customer, however I would think most customers would be OK with the 3/16 wide black strip between the rocker and quarter at the end of the spear on a X66 Yenko, if it were determined that the car was painted that way out of Norwood.
