Donnie, Love your son's Z, looks beautiful and those wheels look spectacular on it.
Almost forget how nice looking those late second gen Z's are.

Very nice looking car, congrats.

I would be really concerned about running the original tires. I had two radial TA's fail last weekend on my Pace Car after driving on the freeway. The tires were about 10-12 years old.

My car failed the annual inspection in Dubai due to the date code on tires being more than 5-years old. Maximum tire age is 5-years for all cars. Probably a smart rule to eliminate any high speed blowouts.

COPO those are reproduction tires on the N90's

the originals are still on the five spokes.

I went with my high school friend to Celozzi Ettelson Chevy in Elmhurst and his dad bought him a brand new 79 Z28 (Black with blue stripes, interior) for his graduation present. Still has car today!
All I got for my graduation was a set of Craftsman tools which I am still using :-)

Gorgeous '79 Z. That's the same color as my '78 Z, Carmine Metallic.
