Default Nice '67 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp, Docs

Neat '67 sold new in Barrington, IL at Bob Barrow Chevrolet (doesn't really need that Nickey decal on the trunk lid). Nice to see the original block and protectoplate.

Nice car, but probably priced on the ambitious side given where the current market is.

Couldn't back it out of the garage for pix???
"Rock solid trunk" by means of patch panels, you would want to look this one over very closely, likely other patch panels hidden under paint.
ED is L35/325hp, not 350 stated on the aftermarket air cleaner.

Shouldn't it have Rally rims due to the disc brakes?

Booster and master etc are aftermarket so likely add-on "upgrade".

Good catch...was not sure on the master being a double bail but the Wilwood valve was a dead giveaway.

Well this car has a new owner and it's on the block yet again. This time it comes with what the seller is calling the 'original transmission' in the trunk - which looks suspiciously like a Saginaw. In any case, this car still intrigues me, but as was said earlier, this one needs to be looked at closely for rust as it grew up in the Chicago area.

That 3788421 bell housing is '63 model year only 153 tooth flywheel, and yes, that trans looks to be an iron Saginaw 3 speed.

Looking at the pic of the RH quarter behind the tire, near the top, is that a painted over pop rivet through the pinch weld??

'

At least the correct VIN 138177K116027 is posted this time w/ fourth last digit 6, not 3.
Good info on the bellhsg/trans also yep, sure looks like a painted rivet or pan head screw.
