Reminds me of a bunch of "99% rust free", "just needs a little TLC", cars that I have driven hundreds of miles to see. At least these pictures actually do show "some" rust!

No kidding Tony...how about the old standby "you won't find a more solid car" and the thing ends up being swiss cheese at the bottom of every body panel.

There’s no way this guy owned the car for several years like he says in the ad. I went to see it when it was for sale on craigslist a little over a year ago in East Meadow, NY. The seller had just picked it up to flip and didn’t have a registration to transfer ownership, bill of sale only. It ended up on ebay a short time later in a neighboring state, possibly Massachusetts. That would make the current seller in Kentucky flipper #3.

Curious what the real value is on this car. Thoughts?

I'd think this car is worth maybe 15K tops, with the work already done. There is still a ton of expensive work to do.

I remember looking at a 69 Chevelle in NY. It was advertised as rust free. There was a rust hole in the quarter to where you could reach your arm into the trunk. The seller also spray painted the edge of the rust hole. I asked about the "no rust" statement. He said since he spray painted over what rust he could find, it no long had rust. No regard to the gaping rot hole in the quarter.

All a matter of perspective, I guess.

Ha! This is why I rarely buy a car sight unseen.
