I say NO. ON ZL1 they know. But those type numbers were not tracked on others models. The RS option alone was. most likely just auction hype ?

They usually start a bogus claim like that to make others talk about it on websites.

I thought the '69 RS COPO Camaro's had a Camaro fender emblem?

You are correct on the fender emblems. There are other items incorrect on this car also.

Mike, do you have that before and after June info turned around?

I have not seen a RS COPO with the Rally Sport emblems on the front fender. A friend of mine has an original 06A build RS COPO 9561 with the Camaro emblems on the fenders.

I know better than to say never, but that info is new to me.

The Camaro emblems on RS COPOs extended to early July '69 at least.

The Mecum COPO [N624797] probably should have Camaro fender emblems.

At this time, no one knows how many RS 9561 COPOs were built.
