I do not think you will find any. I purchased an untouched 74Z back in 99 and tore it apart. No sheets.

My Grandmother's 75 Firebird Esprit (built at the same Norwood plant) had it under the carpet, under the rear seat, on the driver's side.

My 19,000 mile, survivor 73 SD455 (same plant) had no sheet.

I think the likelihood of finding the broadcast is inversely proportional to the value of the car.

To echo the other guys, you probably won't find one. From what I understand Norwood was real good at cleaning them out of the cars. I've heard of a very few that have been found. I've pulled a good portion of mine apart just to see if I could find one. I haven't pulled the carpet or interior panels out yet, but been under and behind the seats with nothing. I do have to say that when I first brought my car home in 1980, I was cleaning out the car and notice dryer sheets under the front seats (the seller put them in). I pulled them out to throw them away and noticed a piece of paper (not build sheet size)that came out with them. I remember the paper had holes in it for feeding through a printer. I looked at it but didn't see anything that made sense. This was before I knew anything about car documentation at all. The paper ended up in the trash with the dryer sheets. All these years later after learning some about documentation, I've always wondered what it really was. It was a few days later that I helped a friend tear down a car and I found a sheet under the carpet. He explained what it was and as soon as I got home I looked in the trash. The trash was gone. Part of me thinks it was an interior document. I'll never know. Hey, if you do tear things down and find one let us know. Just don't hold your breath.

I found the build sheet of a Norwood 68 vert 6 cyl camaro that I bought. I sold the car years ago, but still have the build sheet and paperwork somewhere. Of all places to find it, neatly folded in perfect condition and tucked in the plastic envelope along with the protecto-plate and owners manual !!

When I went to test drive my brand new 73 Z28 prior to purchasing it, one copy of the build sheet was laying on the passenger side front floor area. I had no clue what it was, but I looked at it and thought "I should probably keep this" so I folded it and stuck it in the glove compartment. Luckily when the service dept. prepped it for delivery to me, they did not throw it out, as they probably would have if I had left it laying on the floor. My understanding is that I was very fortunate to have found it there at all. A few years later, I had it laminated in plastic for safekeeping and I gave it to my friend Mike when I sold the car to him in 2000. I still have a photocopy of it.

Common locations to find build sheets in a 74 z28 are under or behind the rear seats or under the front seats. It would be very rare to find one from a Norwood built car. As posted here earlier the Norwood plant cleaned out the cars very well. I do know of a guy that has 4 build sheets he found in his 74 z28. So don't be discouraged to look.

70 to 81 I have found them on top of the gas tank under the strap, under the dash back side of glove box. Under front and rear seat frame,
back of rear seat frame, and on top of headliner also under the carpet.

Because most buildsheets that were in these cars were removed at the dealer during prep. Some kept them with the cars paperwork and given to original owners and others tossed them..

The Body Broadcast Sheet for my 1970 SS/L78 was found under the passenger front seat underneath the carpet. Norwood was real thorough about removing the paperwork from the cars whereas Van Nuys would leave them in just about every car. On top of the gas tank and Behind the rear seat were common places to find the sheets.
