Jeff, you may not have meant anything, but questioning an engines originality (not sure why if it's not for sale) and then claiming &quot;is just my opinion and I am not claiming to be an expert&quot;. Just puts a question mark on the car and begs the question; why make the claim.

There is always a slippery slope when making a claim/opinion on someones car. I believe if the car was for sale and the owner was claiming it was original engine /stampings and you questioned it, I would hope anyone would back it up with pictures and the basis for stating their opinion.

The car is beautiful and it's great that the owner participated in the event.

You may already be aware of this but the editor of Super Chevy Magazine picks 5 cars from each catagory at each show and posts pictures of them on the website for the public to vote for their favorite.
