Ed, I should have known that you'd be the one to catch that 4th gen Camaro in the background but you didn't see that 2005 Mustang 360R in the other photograph did ya?

I thought you had to hit 88mph to go back in time With that in mind I didn't think the Ford was worth the mention..

Ed, you and Rob are funny guys ! ! ! !

These photographs were taken this past Saturday (6/18). The event was the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club - Mustang Club of Central Iowa Annual Shootout at Eddyville Raceway Park in Eddyville, Iowa.

No time slips for me. I was busy trying to imitate Jeff Murphy by taking photographs. Didn't even take one of the Camaros with me as I took my stepladder along so I could get up above the guard rail to have better photographs of the action (stepladder wouldn't fit in the trunk but I guess I could have put the top down on the convertible and strapped it down some way). I will be applying for an apprenticeship with Jeff this year at SCR8.

Eddyville, one of the nicest 8th mile tracks around. We almost upset the track favorite in the finals runnin super street back in the early 90s. Lotta Gibb cars ran there, and a few Yenkos. Howie ran there a lot. First time we ever saw his old black Gibb race car was there. He was huggin a tree by the tofu bar.

I guess I should mention that the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club came home with the gold. Our club took the 1st and 4th place positions while the Mustang club took home the 2nd and 3rd place positions.

Ken, we would have loved to have Kim there (since he is a member of our club). We are always looking for a way to motivate him to come to our activities. I'm sure with the Dick Harrell Camaro, he could have cleaned a lot of Mustangs clocks.
