Default Gathering of the Geezers - Kil Kare

If you are in the Dayton-Xenia Ohio area, this Sunday the 10th is the annual Gathering of the Geezers car show and race event. Usually a pretty good turn-out. It's the 15th year for this.

Planning on taking Rats Nest. Car has not been down the track at KilKare since the mid-1970's. Denny Davis will be there, hopefully I can talk him into taking his Dad's old car down the track or at minimum have him ride shotgun with me.

Going to try to recreate the 3 vintage track photos which I believe were taken at KilKare in 1971/72.

I suppose if the car had a decent driver behind the wheel, it could happen - I'm not that guy. Denny or Rick could do it as they are both lifetime drag racers - doubt if they will with this car

That does look like it would be a fun day.

Maybe next year I could find the time/funds/car to come to this.
I haven't touched the Chevelle since I got home from SRC. Got it off the trailer and drove it into the storage building, put a drip pan under the broken tail housing and got on with other projects.
