Exactly what I've been trying to clarify too!.
Also again if it is stamped I'm wondering how the casting and engine build date jive w/ the #'s of any of the 20 original '67 RPO L88 'Vettes!?
Anyone know groupings/dates of the original 20 RPO cars and/or engines?.

The actual value is still a question for me, It seems that if you have a &quot;real&quot; 1967 L88 Corvette or a 1967 Motion car in need of an original motor the sky is the limit. Thanks again, J </div></div>

To set value you have to know what's on the pad.

What I'm getting at is if a '67 3904351 casting I believe that's pre CE so again the stamping is very important!.

I owned a real 67 351 CE stamped block/motor. I think I have a pic of the stamping somewhere.
