63-Split window barnfind...it gets even better
Rumors Rumors Rumors... we all know how they travel around the car cliques. There had been rumors of a local Colorado 63 SW vette with big brakes, possibly an ex Pikes Peak hill climb car, hmmm it sounds interesting, could it be true?
Chasing leads and making connections is everything, never say never and NEVER give up the chase is what Dave (PROTREE68) has learned over the his lifetime. From a real 67 Z28 in a junkyard when he was 18 to the survivor Orange and white 70 Hemi Cuda, the Daytona Yellow Yenko, the L78 convertible loaded with options and documentation... could he possibly have located another gem? After chasing, finding, and ultimately befriending the owner over a couple of years this deal came to fruition last month. I appreciated the opportunity to see the car, meet the owner, and ultimately congratulate Dave on the purchase.
